My family and extended family knew I was a bed wetter growing up. Today of course my doctor, many friends, etc. know I’m in diapers 24/7.

Your not alone. It’s isn't always easy to hide from family and friends.

But mt doctor, physical therapist, wife, mom, my kids knew i had a surgery and have a drawer and under sink cabinet full of adult pull up diapers. Probably six or seven friends. It is also obvious when i travel. What i have to pack and the externals i keep in my backpack. I try to have it be discrete, but sometimes i know that it is noticeable that I’m wearing a diaper, even though it is a pull up.

My wife, DRs, a few close friends, my sister (we are very close and confide in each other about everything) and lastly my Mother in Law. The first friend I confided in was the hardest as we are best friends and he and I were going to training so sharing a room and there was going to be no way to hide it. He was completely cool about it which gave me confidence to not hide wearing diapers as much.

My mother in law found out when we spent Thanksgiving vacation away with my wife's family. We each had our own cabin and would get together for meals, outing ext. One day after getting back I had showered and was wearing just my diaper cooling off. With out warning my Mother in Law walked in and we just looked at each other and she said sorry and left. I think she suspected before that due to occasional leaks ( the dread half moons on our backside), our suddenly leaving their house when I knew I had flooded etc. but it was never in the open till then. She is great about it and suggested I keep a bag in their spare bathroom to make changing easier when we are over to visit.

Hi @MarineJohn, sounds like a pretty cool and accepting mother in law!! I know of so many others who have had to endure a lot worse MILs! And you're one of the lucky ones!!
