Can't say that I'm wanting to celebrate this...

Hi Jeff, I can understand that. As artiejr said it is more of an awarnensss day to get people talking about bedwetting (primarily for children) and hopefully reduce the stigma around bedwetting as people realize that is more common than most people think and that it really is not big deal, just. Medical issue that some goes through or have.

Here is a quote from one of the twitter pages I saw yesterday about the day.

"Today is World Bedwetting Day! It's a chance to raise awareness of #bedwetting and the excellent help available.

So I can get behind your not celebrating it as such, But opening awareness and getting the conversation started is a big part of it. So I'll join in on the pizza party if there is any left.

I bedwet every night. Not my favorite thing to do, but it's part of my life. Don't like it; but it happens.

I think my bedwetting is caused from my deep sleep. I rarely wake up during the night and almost always already wet. Almost no daytime wetting. Only on rare occasions and just minor wet spots on my pants. Night time is a different story, wetting numerous times during my sleep.

I’ve found that when I sleep sitting up in my recliner, I wake up dry. However, if I sleep in my bed and sleep deeply, I wake up wet. I only sleep in my bed on my days off. That way I have time to get my laundry done.

I feel ya. Though my bedwetting is only occasional it is frustrating at time and definitely not my favorite part about me, but as you say it is part of me and I usually just deal with it and move on.
