“Happy Holidays!” is better than “Merry Christmas!”
It would not offend me if a Buddhist wished me a happy
"Gong" or whatever they might like to say. Regardless, I would take it as an expression of goodwill from them. I am also expressing goodwill towards that person when I say “Merry Christmas".
When I say, “Merry Christmas", I am glorifying my
God and Savior, Jesus Christ who was crucified for both of our sins and was raised from the dead.
Rhetorical question:
If you had to guess, which spirit do you suppose came up with the counterfeit term, "Happy Holidays":
Satin or
God's Holy Spirit
I have always said “Merry Christmas" and always will. Praise be to God!
