So I will share my picture since everyone else is. My mom made these for me. I'm am a big Peanuts fan and even have a handmade quilt from my mom I got years ago. So the bags are great.

I think that has to be one of the best comic strips of all times. Not always intended to be funny, but it made you think.

Best comics? Charlie Brown was a survivor, and deserved to be.
Bet we all have more than one favorite. The papers reduced the size allotted to a comic, and we lost some of the best artists. Walt Kelly's Pogo, with its exquisite, detailed drawings. Bill Mauldin. Who did the military cartoons for WWII's European front?
We got Sadie Hawkins day from Lil' Abner.
Then there was Calvin & Hobbs.
I got a Far Side desk daily calendar, this Christmas. That wonderful squewed view of the world, translated for us.
Had a doctor in a big hospital - orthopedic surgeon. She had comics & cartoons about the medical profession taking up several square feet of her office wall. Huuump. Now that I think about it, my urologist didn't.
Some of us used to trade cartoons with each other, by fax.
The wife & I re-labeled pertinent cartoons for each other. We still laugh at some.
To this day I can describe some of Bill Mauldin's cartoons.
All an anodyne to the sometimes grim reality of living.
Hurray for the Great Pumpkin!

Hey! I just remembered. Looked it up. "Joe and Willie", the 2 soldier characters of WWII, were created by Bill Mauldin. Patton wanted to squelch him, Ike said NO!
To top it off, Charles Shultz and Bill Mauldin were friends - Schultz was a WWII vet, also. They did one Charlie Brown strip, together, and on Veterans Day, Charlie Brown had Mauldin in it. I must have missed those, or have forgotten them.
He'll get that football, yet!

This is what I got for Christmas!!!!! One day late and two days to pass. Never ever had a kidney stone but got one for Christmas. Two days till I go to MUSC to see the new specialist. I also got a NuWave oven that does everything but shop. I also got a new tablet from my husband too. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and will enjoy a happy new year. Fingers crossed to determine why my nerves are so messed up causing my urine incontinence, usage of wheelchair when out, and inability to figure out my true diagnosis.

@Dmorris

Yea, NOPE!!

I remember 2018 laying on the floor in pain and my mom thinking I had a kidney stone only to find out I would have died if I had not gone to the ER/ED due to diverticulitis.

I know how painful people say stones are so I hope you get well soon. I use to say I wished it was a stone and not diverticulitis back in 2018 but now I second guess that statment.

HI @Dmorris, getting a kidney stone for Christmas doesn't sound like a fun way to spend Christmas. But I hope that's the worst of it and that the new specialist you're going to see tomorrow can shed a lot of light on the situation.
I hope you're enjoying your New Wave oven that does everything but shop. But if you find an oven that can actually shop, please let me know!!! Food shopping definitely would NOT be classified as a hobby of mine!!!😊

I Got a lot of snacks and some sort of knife that I havent opened yet(won in a game). I rented a small excavator and dug up several tree stumps that have been in my way for while now. After a few cups of eggnog I also learned that it will knock down tree limbs too. That was my gift to myself this year.

This wasn't something I got for Christmas but just wanted to show everybody what somebody did for a local Brother and Sister in our local branch. For each day through the Christmas Holiday a Secret Santa dropped off new pieces of the Nativity Scene.

They must have dropped by hot cocoa and cookies one night to all the church members cause my significant other heard a knock on the door while I was at work the same night they texted this to whomever the secret Santa was saying they forgot there hot cocoa too!

I belong to a wonderful church. I'm thankful they do these things for people throughout the Christmas Season.

@jeffswet
