Switching providers

I hope to get the help i need
So today i switched health providers.
I feel my last doctors didn't really care to help.
I haven't had any oab or bladder spasms in a week my issue Comes and goes.
New doctor did a urine test And seems i have slight protein in urine and
Possibly chronic prostatitus as they did a dre test and gave me cipro
As my back has been hurting
I feel exhausted trying to figure out what's going on with me.
I hope the new doctors can help.

Keep on top of it. I have found urologists to be the Rodney Dangerfields of the medical specialties and for good reason

I agree.
My last urologist didn't really care
Much just seemed to be bored with job choice.

Just keep after them have had several bouts with prostatitus and is a pain.

If I may ask What symptoms do you have with it?
My symptoms come and go then gone for many weeks frequent urination,bladder. Discomfort and burning in bottom area along with urination.

Prostatitis can have several causes. It means its an inflammation of the prostate. Bacteria, trauma(bike riding, sex, riding lawn mower etc), or cancer. Often times bacteria dont show up in urinalysis. Doxycycline is used for infection as well as cipro but cipro has been incriminated with tendon/ligament tears. I used advil for a few days when i had a prostate and it would help with the trauma.BPH can cause similar signs but is an enlargement and not necessarily inflammation tho both can be present
