Robotic Prostate Surgery Week 3

It’s still very early days I’m afraid. After an RP the majority will be dry at night and sitting fairly quickly but will leak a lot moving around. Keep doing regular Kegels and things will very gradually improve. It’s a slow process but as the weeks go by you’ll start using less pads, lighter weight pads. By week 8 you should see some significant improvement and this should keep improving. I’m now 16 weeks post RP and I’m virtually dry all day. I still wear a lightweight pad because I sometimes have a small leak if I sneeze or cough or lift something heavy.
It’s easy to get despondent, I know I did. Things will gradually improve.

Thanks to all for making me feel a bit more confident that things will get better?, it's good for me to find this forum and know I seem to be in good company with others going through exactly the same unfortunate experience I am, and who have come out the other side of it .

Nobody wanted this, just the proverbial bolt from the blue, as is life,
Will persevere .
Regards all .
