Rash cream issue Question???

Anyone else have the elastic on the leak guards fall apart when using rash cream?

It happens with every brief I have tried and with all the normal rash creams (Desitin, Aquaphor, and Balmex)

It is the only time that I have any leaks. The top elastic pulls out of the leak guard and then the guard lays flat and does nothing.

Luckily I wear a Gary wear brief as well.

It is just annoying.

Yep. It hasn't happened recently, but I haven't been wearing plastic-backed briefs for quite a while, so I assume it has something to do with that. Also, I'm using a brief that is, (so far) providing me with the level of protection I need, I do change after a major wetting- I don't wait for a 2nd or third episode; add to that the fact that I use a booster pad, usually consisting of a size 4 or 5 Pampers and will pull that out if I have had a moderate voiding while out and about. As my need seems to be increasing, I may be going back to a plastic-backed product, so I guess I'll also be back to having the same problem that you are experiencing.

So, I am using betterdry as well but did/have used comfidry as well and both do it with the creams that I listed. Not a huge deal as I don't use the cream every day. I think that in my case it is bad when I do use cream because I put it in the place right in the V of my legs as I get rashes there from time to time.

I’ve always had this issue when using BetterDry and A and D ointment. I’ve since switched to NorthShore brand briefs and I’ve been good ever since.
