Congratulations on the AUS IMPLANT and to everyone else who is getting some positive results on what you are using.
One word of caution to those of us who are using a clamp and trying to get it tight enough to stop the dripping. I use the clamp some and I also think about one other thing. It's like walking a high wire to get a clamp tight enough and loose enough.
If the clamp (chomps down) on the delicate blood vessels, there's the possibility of "wounding" the delicate tissue and blood vessels. This can result in producing scar tissue. Scar tissue is harder to deal with than ordinary plaque buildup. The clamps I have seen have a "hump" in the middle of the bottom bar so that the urine flow is stopped but blood can still flow on both sides of the "hump.
We are told that boy babies in the womb begin having penile erections. The practical effect of this is to clean out the plaque that builds up in the blood vessels, which continues into adulthood with 3-5 erections during the REM periods of sleep.
As men age, this action slows down and eventually stops altogether. When that happens, plaque and scar tissue builds up and blood flow decreases. Arteries no longer get cleaned out and starve for lack of oxygenated blood. About 100 years ago penile pumps began to appear to deal with that. So, we should not get the clamps too tight and maybe think about investing in a pump to help take the place of the natural erections when we were younger. Read at NationalLibraryofMedicine.Com
