Penile Implant

Good afternoon to everyone! Has anyone experienced a penile implant or know someone who has. I’m scheduled for one soon and would like to hear from anyone that has had the procedure and if it’s worth it. For the record, all other methods of failed. I am 15 months post RP. Thank you!

I have an inflatable erectile implant with two cylinders. I have had it for four years now. It works well. No complaints.

Hello Rowan. So in ur opinion, it’s worth it? I’ve watched videos of the procedure. It’s what comes after that concerns me.

@ada1963 recovery was not comfortable. The first three weeks were very awkward and painful. I was discharged from hospital with the implant fully inflated. It had to stay like that for two weeks. Safe to say I did not leave my house at all during that time. It hurt a lot to sit for several weeks. I used a stand up desk at work until I could tolerate sitting. It was a short term pain for long term gain situation for me.
