Can anyone give advice?
Im 18 months post Prostetectomy Im down to 1 shield a day and at times I forget to wear one and don't show sign of stress leak for a while, but my question today is about the penile implant for erection although my cancer is gone but so are my erections "I also Leak with Orgasm witch is embarrassing" this are my 2 biggest complaints after this year and a half has anyone had penile implant surgery did it help was it worth it can you feel it when your not using it, do the erections feel natural? I hope they don't feel like the shot for erection I really did not like that feeling. Ayway any information is good TY for your help and support

My father-in-law had those implants and had nothing but issues and even got an infection at the base of his penis and he did not really like it.
Because of that I am thinking of trying the shots…. What were they like and what did you not like about them.
After my RP my leaking is also down to 1pD per day after 7 months but erections are just barely a small thickening even with extra viagra…. Would like to get them back and doctor has suggested trying the shots???
Did they work for you at all and does it hurt and where do you give yourself the shot…. Etc???

The reason I did not like the shots was it felt so unnatural. At times I felt like it would explode and it lasted for a couple hours after sex. I then reduced the amount prescribed but the unnatural swollen feeling still remained, the active time frame after sex was less and slightly more tolerable. What I would say with the shots is start with a lower than prescribed dosage and work up, and no the needle was not a problem. little weird but not a deal breaker id say give it a Shot no pun it may be different for you.
Question how long ago did your Father in Law have the surgery? Maybe they have come a long way ?

thank you for the heads up on that I had no Idea did you have it done how did you come across or do you know someone that had it done and what were the results? my question coulb with or without the implant.

Rodwood…..that’s a great question … father in laws surgery was quite a few years ago and I’m sure it is a lot better now but when I saw what the implants were like even then… does not interest me at all to try it.

Looking at getting it done in November, found it on you tube lol.
Found a doc in Hershey med center she's all in. 6 to 8 week heal enjoy my summers and fall to much. I am 2+ years rp still minor leakage ed still problem. Tried shot works but not a fan of sticking to the little guy.

At the top of my NAFC website, there is a tab that says “just for women,” which is the women’s group (that no other females care about, shamefully). If you’re in the men’s group (which you have to tell the NAFC you want to join then it takes them a few days to take care of that task), then you should see a tab on the top of your NAFC website that says “just for men.” I’m not sure how many men have joined nor how many post in there but it might be worth trying.
