Hi Joanne,

Trospium chloride is the latest and probably most effective currently here. Solificenin is another, apologies if I spelt it wrong,. Your GP should know other meds you can try, just ask them xx

I find it disturbing that your doctor's only answer to a change in your response to a drug is to crank up the dosage.

I would hope that any good doctor would want to investigate what may have changed with you to have caused the altered reaction to the medication.

Can you ask to see another doctor, or get your doctor to refer you to a specialist? You deserve better care than you are getting.

I've been on/off it for many years and currently take 30mg daily. I've learned if you stop taking for 60-90 days it will work much better when you restart.

Oxybutynin is a very dangerous drug. It will rot your teeth and your bones. And it offers next to zero benefit, so why take it? I recommend trying Myrbetriq. There are only about six medication’s for any of us to take with incontinence. I’ve tried them all and the only thing that works for me is Botox.
