I did find the Tena Men Premium Fit pants to be the best pull up in terms of absorbency for urinary accidents (they don't have any cover at the back which means they're not good for IBS issues but that does mean they're more discreet).
It's a similar issue I'm having in that when doing physio exercises and sim racing, I can get a bit of a sweat so can't wear plastic backed products but pull ups always leak and I've yet to find any cloth backed nappies which both have decent absorbency and good tapes. The Abena ones are good absorbency wise but the tapes never last long.
