I willing to try the pull ups again. Looking to be less notable at physical therapy do to the fact in is sweatpants or leggings at times. I have large voids the last time I tried the north shore pull ups did not work so good but willing to another brand. If not I can deal with wearing a diaper just looking fo options

Ive never had luck with any pull up. They are all ill fitting and the pads are too oddly shaped to work right for heavy bladder leakage. Good luck and if you find anything as good as a tape on diaper please share with the class.

Ive been leaking 30-40 ounces per day. I have been using Depends. I get about 10 ounces per pull up, and go to the gym 4-5 timers per week. I’d be happy for alternatives.

One other thought. Depending on how quickly you have access to changing facilities, you may consider depdnds real fit underwear. They for me can take one heavy wetting at absolute most and id never trust it for more than about 90 min in any case but if you need flexibility and maybe a bit more discretion for something like PT, a business meeting or a date or something it may be worth a shot.

@Newbie2this my therapist has only recommended a regular diaper she does not like the pull ups do to leaks but maybe I could find one

Go with your therapists recommendation. Just saying it can be an option for times where you need a bit of extra discreetness but id try it at home first.

Although I am a women I have found, for me, the Abri-flex Level 3 and Seni Active Super Plus work well. I too have large voids but find they are good for at least two large voids. I never have pushed them any further. I now have night time incontinence since having Covid and they work for that as well. Although they are not cheap, and my insurance pays zip, I get them from LL Medico as they have free shipping, give a percentage back and have a 10 percent military discount. So that all softens the blow a bit. Best wishes to you.

Abena makes the best I have run across. I use them when I just need maybe an hour or two. Good for before/after the pool where I might just be hanging out for a few. Good for when my day diaper is done, but it is not quite time for bed change yet. Nice for Dr appointments. They are soft hold 4x what any other I have tried does. You can get a small Northshore booster in them for some extra time. I do have to wear a pair of underwear over them to hold them up though.

I've personally been looking at Northshore GoSupreme Pull On Underpants to try during the day so that I am not having to constantly rush to the bathroom constantly and be an inconvenience for work, life, etc.

I recently found out they offer them in more masculine colors than the typical white pull up; so when I have a decent income coming in again - if I get them in black; they would hide well with black mesh shorts or jeans.

Being discreet during the daytime and not having to wear a diaper - is probably the biggest thing to keep my confidence and dignity up while dealing with the effects of my bladder condition.

When I'm under the covers at night; I'll probably end up going back to a Supreme Lite or Tranquility ATN for comfort purposes. I hate the fitting of my current briefs as they do not feel properly fitted. They work - but when you are wearing protection; for best comfort and sleep - is a good fitting underpant.

Check out Northshore - they have excellent customer service and discreet shipping. Take care -

Blessings In Christ,

I second the Seni Active. Very comfortable too.

Thanks, @Boopsie61 and @Aug168! I have been trying to decide whether to try the Seni Active. I don’t usually use pull ups, but I have some occasions where they would be the best option.

I don’t want a really thick pull up, but would need it to handle at least 2 average (250 ml) voids. Would the Seni Active Super Plus do this? Are they crazy thick?

If your voids are that large I would honestly just wear a nappy. I don’t usually have multiple full voids but find when I have a bad day with OAB and am dribbling constantly or don’t have fast access to a toilet with an urge, my pull ups sag when getting full and look way more noticeable than a well fitted nappy does holding the same amount of urine. I’d recommend trying whatever pull ups you do get on under your gym pants and looking at your butt/crotch in the mirror when they are full to see what the urine does to the shape. You may find that nappies are more discrete. All the best trying to find something that works for you!

@Rowan actually, I don’t know what the volume is. I simply saw online that that is an average adult void.

I am experimenting with a few that I can buy from the retail pharmacies/grocery stores. I tend to like Depend, but ready to try Tranquility because they have the best guard, in my opinion. I just have to order them from an online distributor but not sure who is the best one.

@MAM Tranquility can be ordered from Amazon for pretty cheap. I also like the customer service at Carewell.

Which one has the most capacity for large and/or multiple voids? Oh, and I prefer elastic bands in order to reduce potential for any leakage regardless the volume of a void.

For the OP-er looking for something to get by for an hour or so, the Abena level 1 or 2 are a great compromise between absorbency and discreetness. These work great IMO under shorts.

They are about 85-90% leak free, not as dependable as diapers, but that depends on you level of leakage. For reference, I leak anywhere from 10s of ml to 200 ml. Ive found 250 ml is pushing the limit of the level 1s.

@JustAGuy fair enough, your output probably won’t be that large unless you massively over hydrate before a session or have polyuria. I’ve been trying out a few different pull up types lately after my depends leaked a few times due to the crotch not being wide enough (no idea why this started to become an issue, as they worked without a hitch for me for ages) and can recommend the Abriflex pull up range. The M1 (least absorbent) seems to work well for me for a <2 hr gym session. I don’t leak enough to saturate the back, so can’t comment on that, but the crotch bulge doesn’t look super noticeable. Opt for dark shorts or track pants and a snug onesie over the top as the waist band is the typical white frilly style (although not super high cut). And please let me know how you get on. I’m always keen to try a new recommendation.

@theMochi sorry, I just realised that we are talking about the same pull up. I was quoting the model when I also should have included the brand Abena. That’s two votes.

Depends are now leaking for me as well. I tried doubling up with the top reversed to give a seal in the crotch/rear(not to give extra absorption). That helped until I voided slightly too much. I am now looking into another brand that can hold more than 1 liter before leaking and has tighter seals around the legs.
