Diaper recommendation

@Esther718

We challenge the 'bad issues' here and learn to manage them. From there, it's back to doing what we wish and no one notices our differences.

Just had a supra pubic catheter placed. There is no bag attached and I am urinating into the toilet. I am also leaking a lot and sleeping through the night without getting up to use the toilet. When I get up in the morning - usually from 8:30 PM till 8 AM - I am soaking wet from head to toe, my bed is wet and so are my blankets. Any ideas about what incontinence product I should use at night? I want to use disposable underwear and not a diaper.

If you want to use a pull up I would consider the Tranquility overnight underwear its quite absorbent. When I was trialing absorbent products I started with pull ups with no success and I switched to diapers. Honestly it was the best for me. The key with any product whether pull up or diaper is the fit. With the Depend protection with Tabs I get a perfect seal and nothing ever leaks past the elastics at the side, legs or waist. Overnight incontinence is demanding so making sure you get a really good fit is essential. The other bonus is with a proper fitting pad you hardly even know it's there. I have an OAB and sometimes I need it during the day and I don't even notice it's there.

Andy, thats because you are obviously young. Look at your elders 1-2 generations back. That is reality, not youthful perspective.

I have tried all the ms urology experts". Urodynamics etc.No meds really helped. Tried them all. Anyone had the botox procedure? AZO? Acupuncture? Pumpkin extract? Scientology:) ???

I am getting the impression that my problem is not as bad as others'. I have found a pull-up that fits me perfectly. It doesn't have enough padding but I add to it with a remarkable booster. The combination is Compose Dignity underwear (pullups) and Total Dry Booster Pads Duo. This is not a cure or a perfect solution. It is great for fecal if you don't have diarrhea. It holds about three pees but I pee smaller quantities more frequently. But if you stay on top of the situation you can replace the pad and the pull-up will last even longer. For myself, I would die if I had to be wrapped up more than that. Fecal is usually only once a day. Pee I try to get to the bathroom as frequently as work will allow. I do sometimes have pee leaks. Hope this helpful to some at least.
