When I spoke to my doctor last I told him that I had problems with taking mirelax every day. Well yep.. I am still having problems with it. Woke up and as soon as I stood up I filled my diaper. Second time in 24 hours that I had an bowl accidents. First was more of a wet fart. Worst thing is that I have work tonight and yeah now I am worried. I have not been feeling like myself and last night was bad. Hopefully I get through it okay as my tests are this week.

Is it possible you're taking too much Miralax? I had to use that stuff when prepping for a colonoscopy and it doesn't fool around! It really does the job! The colonoscopy docs want to fill you full of that stuff so when you go in for your test there is nothing left to expel and the doc has a clear view when he inserts the scope. So please ask your doc (or someone in the know) if you're simply taking too much Miralax.

Well that didn't last long, already home from work thanks to my bowels went 7 times in four hours and my groin was going numb every time. Then I was dripping urine for half an hour. Tried to get to go home when they were letting others go but my department was not cleared to go. So now I have to get paperwork filled out by my doctor before I can go back to work saying what limitations I will need or accommodations. Very embarrassing conversation with hr about what was going on tonight and had to look online to see if I needed to rush to the emergency room for the numbness but I will hold of and call my doctor first thing in the morning. Not a good day. Crappy diaper and damp pants at work sucks. Grrr I just want answers and my life to be somewhat normal.

Likewise I will truly second what snow just said. You are extremely brave to be going to work at all given the issues you are working through.

SO tomorrow starts testing to see what is going on. First is a pre surgery covid test which will suck. Then prep for colonoscopy on Thursday o it's my third colonoscopy in 18 months. I just want answers. Yesterday I almost wore a abena pullup to work but with bag checks and all that I never wanted to get to that point. After Thursday or Friday I hope to have a better idea of what normal is going to be like for me. I am sick of being sick.

Well I don't blame you for being sick of being sick! Just tell the doctor you want to know precisely what is going on with you in plain and simple English. No medical gibberish! You have every right to know. If there is still no satisfaction do get another opinion even if you have to go out of town to do it! If they still shake their heads and say "we just don't know," ask them to refer you to a specialist. Good luck and let us know what the doc says.

I had an accident at work when I first started that stuff, but it will settle down so please try not to worry. Take a rucksack to work with you with a change of trousers, spare pad, plastic pants and wipes and a disposing bag to put the soiled pad in if you do. A lot of us have accidents so theres nothing broken than just a little bit of pride and dignity. You will be ok.
