Welcome To The NAFC Message Boards! Learn A Little Bit About Us Here!

Hi I'm Bill and I just joined a couple of days ago. I live in Florida (not a native). Looking through the forum it's good there's a place where I can ask questions and "just let it flow" about incontinence issues. Briefly I do have seriously overactive bladder and find that pull-up type underwear works the best. I like to go out and walk a lot but without the pull-ups there is no way I can go for longer walks. I would be extremely uncomfortable to say the least!

Well I had no idea about this site and I'm glad I found it. Now I can get support and help too. I'm pleased to be here. Hope everyone is staying safe

I am new to this group and find it very hard to talk about my problem but here goes. I have crohns and and IBS. There are times when reaching a restroom in time feels like a challenge. However mybiggest concern is having bowel incontinence during the night. It does not wake me up when it happens. I just wake up and am in a mess. Anyone have this problem?

@Momoftwi welcome to the forum. There are certainly a few of us with bowel and bladder problems. I'm sure that others with more of a problem than me will respond. You could try putting a post in the main list? Take care, Phil

Hello, I'm new here. I know I'm not alone nite time and day incontinence at 51.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all.

Hello im new to these forums
I had a prostatectomy 3 weeks ago Im taking it on the head as nothing else for it?
I had a small cancer on my prostate purd fluke i found out about it was at my GP forva health check doc ssud fighting fit example fir a 62 yr old
(I sing for a living)
I said i pee a lot thru the night n that started alarm bells, got checked and it was enlarged and cancerous.
Plan was to go thru radiotherapy fir 8 weeks but scans showed two enlarged lymphs back of prostate so i was sent from highlands of Scotland to London for a deep specialised scan
Whatever they found the doc said he could now operate where as they couldn't before
I to now experience the pads syndrome find most nights dry n wake up to to pee but daytime its more frequent dripping with urges to pee
Read a lot of your posts n found it helpful n in a way comforting?
Stay Strong everyone!!

After having prostate surgery 4 weeks ago, incontinence is an issue. I'm using pull ups and pads at a pretty good rate. Does anyone know if health insurance covers these items as they are getting rather expensive

I'm also new to this forum and glad to be a part of this community. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Thanks

Hi all new here been wetting the bed on and off since I hurt my back two years ago.. well just wanted to say hi

I receive several emails daily. Recently I have had sign-in for every email I receive. This hasn’t been the case until recently. Is this something new or am I doing something wrong? How do I contact the administrator?

Hi Rickyr,
You can adjust your settings for the emails you'd like to receive in your Profile & Settings tab, which you can find by clicking the down arrow up at the top next to your user name. Scroll down to the middle of the page and there is a section for email settings. Just select the emails you'd like to opt-out of/opt in to.

I think if you are already signed in, you shouldn't have to do it again each time. Unless there is something that is clearing your cache on your browser. Let me know if that helps, or send a PM to NAFC if you need more assistance.

Thanks,
NAFC
