Introducing Myself, Here to Support and Share

Hi everyone, my name is Tim, and I’m really glad to be here. I joined this community because I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming incontinence can feel, especially at the beginning.

I live with incontinence as the result of a spinal condition called Tethered Cord Syndrome, which developed after a serious back injury years ago. I’ve had multiple surgeries that helped in many ways, but bladder issues have remained part of my daily life. Because of that, I wear adult diapers to manage my condition and maintain my independence.

I wanted to introduce myself because I hope to be a resource and a source of encouragement for others here, especially anyone who is struggling with embarrassment, shame, or fear around wearing protection. Adult diapers are a medical tool, not a personal failure. They provide safety, dignity, and freedom, and using them is nothing to be ashamed of.

If you’re new, feeling vulnerable, or still learning how to navigate life with incontinence, please know you’re not alone. I’m always open to listening, sharing experiences, or offering support. My goal is to help normalize these conversations and encourage people to embrace what helps them live confidently and fully.

I’m grateful for this community and look forward to connecting with you all.
