Sounds like those who work at banks in the U.K. get the day off!!! Lucky them!!!!

Had to work on Easter sunday. I work retail, and since Lowe's was closed. we got a lot of people stopping in. I thought that my store would at least give us lunch or something to eat other than sickening sweets. I guess people don't understand the meaning of Easter.

Hi @artiejr, If I'm reading what you're saying correctly, it sounds like at least your company gave you those sickening sweets! And that's more than we can say for most companies in this day and age!!! Most companies would nag employees about taking too long a break, holiday or no holiday!!!
