I actually use this in my home as a daily.
Sounds awful but it isn't at all. Sleep soundly with peace of mind.

A cheap plastic mattress cover for the bed over bottom sheet (if in doubt get a large size). Tuck it in all around.
I put a bed pad or towel on the middle (launder next day) I think there are disposable pads with sticky tape backing or sale if you are traveling Get those and bring plastic bags for underwear and pad disposal.
I tuck in the plastic mattress cover and as a side sleeper the pad is in midsection. By the time your head is on pillow and midsection on pad you don't notice you are lying on a sheet of plastic!

In the morning throw the plastic sheet in the shower and rinse with or with out soap shake it out lay it on the bed and towel off the excess water both sides.
You can fold and put away in suitcase or make the bed as you wish.
It keeps the mattress clean and dry and complete peace of mind as you fall asleep in your bed or another.

Sorry I don't know what to do to modify if you sleep with a partner

My incontinence is not as bad now as it was a year ago. But for me my wife would put puppy peepee training pads under the sheet and on the floor beside the bed on my side should I ever get up in the middle of the night. The pads actually worked quite well and stayed in place very well. Just a thought my friends....good luck and God Bless.

I use these a home but t avoid washing them in a hotel or ges situation use a plastic mattress sheet with a diaper and a disposable pad. I know I've protected the bed with the plastic and can dispose of the others.
