I just discovered a new protective sheet for the bed. I purchased a PEVA shower curtain from Walmart. It's made by Better Homes and Gardens. It's 70 inches wide by 78 inches long. I have a queen bed and it fits it perfectly. It's made of a real thick clear plastic. The only drawback is that it makes a crinkling sound when you move around which some people might be put off by.To muffle the sound I put 2 fitted mattress pads over the plastic then cover the pads with the fitted mattress sheet I personally don't have a problem with it (I'm a deep sleeper) but other people might. I like thick plastic covers because they last longer. I thought I'd mention this in case people were looking for alternative ways to protect their bed. I know many people use shower curtains to protect their bed from bedwetting. Of course I use diapers to protect the bed as well (prefold style pin-on cloth diapers covered with plastic pants.)
