Did you get rid of your pubic hair?

I'm wanting to go back to the gym to work out and will need to shower there. It may feel awkward now that I've gotten rid of my pubic hair. It acts like a sponge to urine and I think I'm more hygienic without it. I know I don't need to explain my new look to the other men there, but I just wanted to ask if any of you have shaved yours off as well. I know many young men manscape now for aesthetic reasons, and I doubt if they would even have a clue as to what other reasons could exist for shaving it off.

I wouldn't worry about a lot of people keep it neat.

I trim and shave the pubic area. I mainly just trim now. I shaved when using the penis pump after prostatectomy for penial rehab.

I have real trouble with UTI's, and I had one nurse tell me not to worry about pubic hair, then a urology PA say I would like you if your pubic hair is removed with your UTI issues

So, how do you shave it- electric or wet?
