Awkwardness with Family

@Drawer I learned, painfully, last year that if I tell my mother things, even in confidence, she tells them to other people almost immediately. Hence, not everybody can tell their mother.

My wife understands my wetting problems and is very supportive.

Best support I think that we could have is from our wife, I'm lucky to have her she's 11 years younger than me and she is very understanding, She worked in an old person home for 34 years so she does understand

Hi @jeffswet, I didn't see any type of hostility or condemnation in that particular post either. It was just looking for advice on mustering up the courage to talk to mom about the problem. Talking about something like incontinence even with a member of your own family is never easy no matter what the dynamics of a family are.
