Is there any herbs that help with that? I pee on an average of 15-20 times a day which stops me from focusing on work and driving long. I’ve heard that Stinging nettle root helps with that but idk. I keep seeing these recommendations but anyone has any expereince from these before I go and spend money! THANK YOU! DESEPERATE HERE!

Hello sscha005,

An important question to answer is, how much are you peeing each time? Do you have a strong urine stream, or is it weak? It's important to determine if you are or can fully void your bladder.

If you are a male, have you had any prostate issues or treatment?

Female, and I have Sudden urine leakage when coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercising. Sometimes i feel like I can let out everything other times I feel a "giving way" sensation in the pelvic floor

My wife started having an issue seven years ago. It turned out that her pelvic floor was sagging, pressing on her bladder. She had a pelvic mesh sling installed and helped a lot. According to her doctor, it was a side effect of childbirth and age. She had tried pelvic floor exercises, but it didn't help. If you have not already spoken with a doctor, it might be time to discover if it is a biomechanical issue.

To your original question. Some herbs and vitamins act as a diuretic. Vitamin C is a diuretic. Vitamin D is not, but there is no evidence that it would improve Bladder sphincter control or pelvic muscle strength.

Sscha005, you should first come clear with some basics about incontinence.

1.incontinence is not an illness of itself but always a symptom of another underlying problem. To find possible treatments, first step is seeing medical professionals in order to find out what‘s causing your problems!

2. Treatments of IC symptoms is mostly a long term project. There does not exist the one med which you take and one day later the problem is solved. It takes time and often some trial and errors! Sometimes only a reduction of IC symptoms is possible, sometimes a complete healing.

3. in the meantime, don’t let your bladder dictate your life! There are so many different incontinence supplies available ( pads, pants, diapers) in every shape, size and saturation level, comfortable and reliable, which allow you to find back to you regular life without anyone else being able to remark anything! Don’t feel ashamed buying and using such products if an enhancement of your quality of life is the result!

I wish you all the best!

It’s best to consult a doctor to have tests done to see what is causing your incontinence. You are just kind of stabbing in the dark if you don’t know what you’re treating.
