Dang FedEx taking their sweet time getting me my stuff. It has been in my state since 3 am and will not be delivered today.

Ordered on Monday.. So tired of this. Like everything else shows up on time but not from FedEx... I am about Fedup because Ups messes up boxes and FedEx just does not deliver when they say they will.

Nothing like staying home for three day waiting on things when it says it will only take two days.

Not fond of FedEx myself.
My issue was they would leave parcels a 1/2 mile from my rural home.
Usually a neighbor would find it and bring it by.
We used to joke that their motto should be “ anything within a mile is good enough “ .
Good luck. Hope you get your delivery yet today.

FedEx used to be one of the most reliable companies. Lately, they seem to have stopped caring. Don't know why. They will lie to you about when the package will be delivered as though we won't notice. It really sucks.

A driver did stop to pull my giant trash receptacles round the house for me though.
Probably not the same driver!

Interesting. I thought it was just me. Fed ex usually can't find their way to my doorstep either. I do know now when it says delivered and I cant find it to go to my neighbors place. Delivery notice says "left at front door" almost every time. I find it at the entrance to his pole building which is 200ft(?) from his house and a lot farther from my front door. Not sure how pole building door is "front door" but I guess one could argue technically it is the front door to his pole building.
One peace of mind I have. My standing orders for both day and night products are set for shipment 15 days before I am out of product. After months and months of +15 days I am numerous cases ahead of my needs. So it's frustrating but mot near as much as if I was out of my products.

Not my joke but seems appropriate here :
So UPS and Fed ex are merging, the new company will be called Fed Up..

I have used both of these companies for my side businesses for years and sadly it seems UPS gave up the fight for high quality on time deliveries about 3 years ago.
About the same time I switched to FedEx they started going from a mostly highly trained employee with salary & benefits business model to “piece” work employees with no benefits and little training, only the carrot of potential full time employment with benefits to keep them moving. My latest guy, just out of the Army for a year is trying to support his family (Wife & two little girls) on a RAISE to $1.10 per package delivered.(His statement, not mine) On average it takes him 12-14 hrs a day to deliver his allotted 200+ packages a day. Sadly I’ve gotten to know my drivers well due to being home during most days as my shop is here on the property and the guys & gals always want to see what I’m building next. The Covid delivery thing just crushed everything by the big companies being paid to have a high percentage of their vehicles idle & waiting almost two weeks to get approval to ship the vaccine, right in the midst of Christmas!
Last I checked USPS was still sitting on 5,000,000+ packages that were to be delivered (properly)for Christmas...
USPS is a perfect study of how a Socialist company operates in a Capitalist world!

Well, nothing today. Says scheduled delivery: Pending.

This just sucks. As the first delivery day was yesterday, not today. So not I am stuck sitting around yet again waiting.

I got camera batteries charged and had plains but so much for that.

Live semi rural. UPS delivers to door, same driver for some years, she asked if could leave on our sheltered porch. We are near the end of her route, so we even know the approximate hour. I don't bother with the "tracking", usually. They had her regular truck in the shop, and the "loaner" didn't have moose lights. She hit one at the house next to me. I went out to help her out.
Don't get much FedEx, but some. They aren't as good, here. Half the time, you have to go to their office to pick it up yourself.
I've been told by mail order firms the "you have no UPS in Alaska". Really. I was looking out the window at a brown truck with a gold strip, at the time. They wouldn't ship to me, so I found another supplier. Alaska is rife with stories like that. We expect longer times and higher cost, and try to plan for it, but you know how that goes.
The shipping clerk who shipped via San Diego "because I looked at the map, and Alaska is an island just off of San Diego." Was the boss pi**ed at the delay!
You think that's a joke, when you first come up here, until it happens to you.
The car dealer can't even get parts shipped from the company, right now. The supply chain is all screwed up.
Thank your politicians.

Well just got my order but it was very stressful. The driver pulled up, unloaded one case (My bedroom window faces the street and is very close), and then left without delivering anything. I called FedEx and was like WTH... Turns out the driver's scanner was not working so he had to pull down the road out of traffic to fix it.

Still not happy because I have had orders take way to long to get here. This order should have been delivered on Thursday.

Here is a crazy thing. It seems like Betterdry is dropped shipped from the same warehouse no matter who you order from. So there is that.

Had an order issue today. I live in a block of flats and usually DPD come straight to my apartment door. This time the driver left them at the bottom of the stairs so I had to carry them up, which with weakness down one side of my body wasn't much fun.

Anymore I hate having to order anything that has to be delivered. When I order from Parentgiving.com it always arrives early and right at my door. I don't know who they use. If I order something from Walmart you never know when it will show up.
And for added fun I ordered a refill on a prescription from Walgreen's and asked for it to be delivered next day. Well their delivery/mail order comes from Chandler AZ. Im in Ohio. So I paid for next day delivery and have no idea when it is going to be delivered.

My prescription medication can be delivered by mail, and they do everything imaginable to get you to use mail. This is why I refuse, and get it from the local pharmacy. If we get 90-day supplies, we can order sooner, which is a good margin. And tRump's boy, DeJoy wants to slow down the Post Office even more? Ben Franklin is spinning in his grave. Canada cut off the trucks that bring things like medicine from lower 48, and Fred Meyers (Kroger) had to fly it in. I only missed three days of one med. If Fred Meyers runs out, they call all the competing pharmacies until they find one that has it.
Now, if we could only get that kind of service for incontinence supplies....

Amazon spend billions with the shipping companies, services. We spend maybe $20 dollars. You know who gets the better service....

Alas, I reject your argument. I spend more on medicine than I spend with Amazon, yet Amazon delivers my packages to me in 2 days. Amazon bets their business on the ability to deliver on time. Obviously Fed Ex does not and it has hurt their business. Amazon used to use Fed Ex to deliver many of their packages. Amazon has increased the percent of their business that they self deliver because they learned they can't depend upon Fed Ex, and they were Fed Ex's biggest customer.

O. I can tell you stories about stuff getting left in front of another building.

My parent's house in Florida has a big garage in front of it. It is theirs but there is no way not to know it is a garage. Stuff gets left out there in the rain as there is no covering. Once the driver left my school books out there in the rain. He was nice enough to put them in a bag but still. You can clearly tell when you pull into the driveway that there it is not the house.

(Side note, Amazan cannot deliver to that building without getting flagged for wrong delivery by their GPS marker for our house so when to force it through it will credit my parents back the money. My mom has called countless times to tell them about the issue but all amazon does is say "our mess up so it is on us. That has cost amazon a lot but they don't seem to care as they just get a different driver every time.)

I have had the same problem with Fed Ex delivering Chewy packages to a house on the wrong street on a regular basis. Chewy, having smart people who actually care came up with solution. They asked what color my door is (red) and the color of the door where Fed Ex delivers to (Brown). Chewy changed my address on file to read "House with Red Door" The packages now get delivered to my house the first time. When I called Fed Ex about the problem they just didn't care. Chewy cared. There is the difference.

At "check out", it used to you had a choice for more than just "HigherPrice For Faster Delivery", and there was often a choice of carrier.
Now, it seem to be most of them give you one carrier, with different
prices.
I've even encountered "one price one speed take it or leave
it."

I had a package coming from Northshore that was supposed to be delivered today. Now it’s coming Wednesday! And of course I have an appointment on Wednesday. So FedEx will probably leave my package at the front door to either get stolen or who knows what. Once my catheters got stolen. I bet the theif was super disappointed.
