After prostate removal ( cancer ) Almost 5 years ago , my Dr. urologist after few injections Botox still leaking sometimes is very bad wet my pants have to leave my job
mentally speaking it's too much I'm a public person now I've had to stop socializing my doctor says my ureth is very damaged the sphincter works but it seems it needs to be adjusted more and he doesn't want to do it my dr for the same reason the ureth is damaged I've seen videos on youtube of urologists who say if there is a solution, reconstruction of the urethra by a urologist specialized in this type of surgery I asked my dr if there is a specialist in this he tells me I am. so what else is next or will it be the insurance does not allow for now to do this procedure as happened with erectile diffusion I had to cry suffer psychologically mentally I was not well and living like this is not life after three years they approved penile prosthesis surgery, and now the drip that sometimes I don't make it to the bathroom. I am under psychological and psychiatric treatment due to these problems what do I do please help me. What do I have to say to my Dr?

I'm sorry you're going through this. It really sucks.

I'd suggest having a conversation with your urologist about wanting to be more proactive in finding a solution. Let him know that it's causing psychological and social problems, and that you need it solved sooner rather than later. If he's not receptive, then find another urologist.

Many doctors are very conservative in their approach, and they want to go through every possible non-invasive treatment before considering doing more. I think a lot of them don't realize the toll that incontinence can take on the patient. Sometimes, the only solution is to change doctors.
