Question about Kegels

Update- I saw a physical therapist this week. Along with giving up coffee, tea, caffeine, sugar drinks, carbonated anything, pretty much all but water, she gave me a real good analogy. She had her finger up my ???? (I asked if she was taking me to dinner later), she told me to tighten up the sphincter. I did like I thought was correct and she said NO NO NO. Act like you are picking up a blueberry, not making blueberry jam. What a difference. Then she went on to teach me the same getting up from laying down, sitting, bending, etc. I highly recommend seeing a PT if you have the means. Well worth it.
