Pull Up Diapers or Brief Diapers

I have always liked the plastic backed diapers too. They don’t chafe or sag like the cloth ones do. My UI is pretty severe at times so I need a good diaper to get through and being active means it can’t move too much so I’ve found the tape on plastic diapers are best for me. Tena maxi slips are one of my favorites but far too expensive in the USA, but the Northshore supreme lites are the closest I’ve found to them and have become my new day time go to when I’m heading out and going to be away from home and bathrooms.

I,ve always used a combination some pull ups during the day and always briefs at night. This always is subject to change.

I mainly use the pull up diapers night and day but wear plastic pants over them at night. Easier to put on then having to lay down on a bed, table, etc. and taping yourself into the brief diaper.

If they would ever come out with a plastic backed pull up diaper, I would much rather wear those instead of these cloth backed ones.

Mhart82 I’ve found that putting on a tape in diaper is so much easier than de-pantsing to change. It’s really quite easy to tape them on after you’ve found a way to do it. I don’t even use a wall to help hold them up anymore, I just tape one of the the upper tapes on then the rest from there. I am fortunate enough to have good mobility to change and know that many others aren’t that fortunate. Blessings to you all and wouldn’t it be great if companies read our thoughts and needs on heat and made products that we ask for!!

I haven't mastered the art of taping up my own diapers unless I do it laying down on a bed or another flat surface. Will have to practice diapering myself other ways.

Underwear is a headache in my opinion. The changes are much less feasible, and the protection is seemingly less than a tabbed brief. I've always experienced leaks with pullups, and find them harder to keep up when saturated.

As for changes on the go, I've found most places I find the privacy of changing have 4-walls (unless it's a non-ADA stall). Even when there's not, I've mastered utilizing the toilet paper dispenser in lieu of a concrete/sound wall.

To me, the durability and comfort of diapers versus pull-ups are much more sustainable for anyone that requires dependancy exclusively to a pad without the ability to retain and find a loo once in a while. Plus added absorption.

It's all about finding the right product that suits your needs. I have bowel issues from time to time, and can't really go a week without an unexpected movement. Changing a brief is much easier to tackle and clean than underwear.

Putting on taped diapers gets easier over time. I can put one on virtually anywhere. The only place I haven't been able to figure out is an airplane bathroom. Those things are so damn small!
