Had robotic surgery just over 3 weeks ago walking every day but thinking of starting back at Pilates anyone have any thoughts?

My thought is that exercise is great, but don’t overdo it. That is very major surgery and your body needs time to heal before stressing it. I would continue walking and wait 6 weeks before strenuous exercise or stretches.

I would ask your doctor. Pilates is considered a strenuous exercise, a great deal more challenging than simple walking!

Hi @John4538, stick to walking for now because it is a great low-impact aerobics and having just had surgery walking is most appropriate. With walking you build up your stamina and you get to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and see and hear things you would miss by driving. And walking is something you can still enjoy even when you're fully recovered. But do check with the doctor before taking on any exercises that are more strenuous.
