Hi does anyone else use these diapers for urinary incontinence. ? For the past five years I have been using Tena slip maxi for my incontinence . Yes I get Very embarrassed wearing them but I would be stuck indoors without them, I have found them to be comfortable to wear and do absorb a lot of urine.
But this afternoon I get a text off my Continence advisor that in a few months time I will be switched to Molicare Premium diapers.
I can only think that this is a cost cutting thing by the NHS .Of course I can always stick with the Tena if I pay for them myself. So that's about five a day seven days a week, so that's about 140 a month at least seven packs . I can't afford that.
Anyone else on this site used Molicare diapers to manage their wetting.? I have looked online and the absorbtion capacity is not like my favourite Tena Slip maxi
Sorry to be a moaner but...... before the Tena i used Abena they contained frequent wettings but the tapes where poor . Just done a quick calculation and seven packs of Tena diapers will cost me approx £170 a month. That is off a mail order company specialising in the sale of incontinence products.
