Hi, I am Jennifer.
I am a lady in fairly desent health. I have contended with bladder and bowel issues all my life. This is embarrassing to me. My social life is not much existant due to my incontinence.

Hi Jennifer,

You are not alone! Ive been living with bladder and bowel issues for 5 years. I’ve lost all my friends and it took me a long time to accept to live with it. Despite rigorous management, I still have bad days that compels me to stay indoors for days. I will like to share information on management strategies. Ive tried without success to stop taking prescription medication to help with anxiety issues. Even with no friends around, I’m thankful that I’m still alive. Im 59 years.

Hi dtiget1987,

Thanks for the info. I use Buttetfly pads together with Tena but will like to also try the ATN products.

Any suggestions on odor masking products will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

My problem started as painful urination along with frequency and urgency; mild leakage and had to go about every 30-60 minutes. So sleeping was difficult.

I have had 5 "cystoscopy with dilation" procedures. They helped with urgency, but not with frequency.

Then I had an implanted Medtronic interstim device. This really works well for me. It works like a pacemaker for the bladder. The device is about the size of a silver dollar. I requested that it be implanted in my back a few inches above my belt line. Wires run under the skin to the bladder. The device has 4 channels loaded that I can tinker with to find what works best for me. Actually, there are 99 channels available that the doctor or Medtronic sales rep can change. I have an external transmitter that I use to select one of the 4 channels and change the amplitude. (It works like a Bluetooth device.)

Now, I can sometimes wait as long as 3 hours to urinate. That is a great improvement for me!

Me thinks "dtiget1987" is a returning troll. Check out the recent post by "djenn1968". Even the photos are oddly similar in pose and suggest this person has an agenda that doesn't fit well here.

Hi, I am Madge.
I am in my 60's. I am inrelatively good health accept for continence. I have 3 kids. I had my first child at age of 24. I started with lite bladder incontinence after the birth of my second daughter at age of 34. My incontinence got drasticly worse after my 3rd daughter at age of 42. 3 years after birth of my 3rd daughter, I fell off a ladder and ijured my spine at my lumbar 2 and 3 vertabrae. This injury caused my bladder incontinence to be come stress/urge type bladder incontinence and to have severe bowel incontinence. I basicly have very little to no control at all of my bladder and/or bowels.

So... "Madge" or "Jennifer", what say you ? Are you MAN enough to answer? Note that the djenn1968 account has been deleted. Also, if "Madge" is in their 60s, the photos shows some remarkable preservation for a person that age. What kind of water are they drinking?

Andy1050, thanks for the observation!.

It is not acceptable for anyone to make joke of this platform ir take us for granted as we deal with serious issues.
