'In Tone' pelvic floor exerciser?

I used it for 10 months and saw no inprovement. Sorry for the negative comment, I know how much it cost!

ok i started using the intone and it was really difficult to insert. it is large and I am not sexually active, so it takes some doing to insert. not something i am wanting to do every day. but i ought to start getting in the habit as it was costly.

Mine is for fecal incontinence/accidental bowel leakage so it is inserted into the rectum. It is not a pleasant exercise and as I stated above, I gave up after 10 months as I saw no improvement. I am now seeking surgery for insertion of a device called the FENIX which is a magnetic ring that is surgically placed in the anus and it opens and closes for bowel movements. I am having trouble getting insurance to pay for it because they do not understand that the FDA has approved it for humanitarian reasons. I am desperate as I have IBS and am often confined to my home when I have flare-ups. Also, it is very humiliating!
Keep at it, hopefully you will have more positive results than I did.

This is disappointing to read. I was considering the one without a prescription, the APEXM. There is also something called a Pericoach that comes with an app.

I now have an Interstem implanted to help control the sphincter muscle so that I do not have any bowel accidents. It is working better than having nothing though I am having to adjust the level of stimulation that it gives in order to work. ABL is hell to live with! I spend so much time changing underwear!
