Hoping for a good Thursday.

Thursday I finally see someone from the Gastroenterology department. I should have seen my actual GI doctor two times already since my surgery in April.

Things are getting worse and not better with my health and truly I feel that I am losing abilities I had for a short time after surgery.

I am going to be demanding a full blood work up to find out what is going on because I have no energy no matter what I do.

I really feel like crap all the time. Tired, weak, and not able to function. I just want to sleep all the time.

It is getting very hard to do most of the day-to-day things that I have to do to keep my apartment clean.

If I have to go out to get groceries then the rest of the day is done for.

My appointment on Thursday is early in the morning so I have to be up and that will wreck the rest of the day.

I hope this GI person is able to help me or it will be a long day at the hospital waiting for my medical case manager to demand I see someone else.

I just what these next few appointments to go smoothly or my stress level will be unbearable.

Hopefully, all goes well. I have to have blood work done for kidney function. I was on dialysis from mid October thru mid May. Kidneys went from 10% function to now 20% which was enough to get me off dialysis. I was going 3 days a week, four hours at a time. Then I was cut down to two days a week, four hours at a time.
It is very rare that once you start dialysis, you ever get off. I am one lucky SOB. I followed a renal diet which helped tremendously. My fluid intake was increased from 32oz. a day to 52oz.
