Hey everyone. I just turned 18, getting ready to complete my junior year of high school. I have urinary incontinence. I still live at home, of course. My mom found this group and recommended I join to meet others that are dealing with the same problems that I have.

Any idea what is causing your UI? I grew very tired of hearing Dr.s prescribing meds and alarms to solve my Ui. Not until 30 did I have a wise urologist do a study discovering my neurogenic bladder which is the medical cause of mine. Best of luck as, like you, those teenage years caused me to miss out on sleepovers or other activities (Boy Scouts) and were very stressful trying to keep it secret.

Not totally sure to be honest. I’ve dealt with this most of my life. When did you start having problems with it?

I’ve been basically UI my whole life. Wet the bed every night, often numerous times a night. Daytimes were always really tough in hs. A few pair on underwear with plastic pants could pretty well handle trying to get to a bathroom many times a day. I was always stressed during the day especially hoping I wouldn’t get too wet and spot my pants. Adding tape on briefs during the day when getting older help a lot with stress. Now my only stress came from being a teenage guy wearing diapers 24/7.
