Hello,
I'm writing to ask if anyone has experience with an elderly parent with mild dementia.
he is not sleeping well at all, and continues to remove his pull up disposable pants whilst in bed.
It's very difficult to manage with the constant bedwetting. Any ideas to help resolve this problem?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

I read there are one piece items that go on with the closure in the back and shorts are part of the shirt basically a long John. The website site is "dementia careblazers community" which is a useful resource for those caring for a dementia relative.

I think she said to Google Disabled clothing and search up the items that way.

Another option is to have patient wear lockable plastic pants. They are somewhat pricey, but you have to unlock them to remove them. Most incontinent suppliers have them. Prices vary, but the same manufacturer makes them.

@AnnalisaRossetto , in addition to the previous suggestions, there are medications to reduce restlessness as well as sleep aids. Regardless, your best source is talking to your parent’s doctors.
