ER trauma/retention/spc (again)

Its taken me awhile to process all of this, so here we go.

On Saturday I found myself unable to pee. I called mobile urgent care (cool thing where they come to your house!). They said they could insert a foley, no biggie. Well they couldn't. I had to go to the er. I there, they got me in quick and I thought "hey cool this will be easy!" They had trouble too. They finally got it in and it was THE most painful thing I have ever experienced. And I have had an amputation. I was screaming and crying. The nurses left me for about an hour while i was begging them to take it out. They finally came back in, gave me a shot of morphine, and took it out. I have scarring and some other stuff going on "down there."

I am terrified of having another foley and am doing everything I can to stay out of the er until I can (hopefully) see a new urologist that deals with "complex cases" next week. It has been brought up that I may need a SPC again and that I didn't give it enough of a chance last time.

I hate all this.

So sorry you are going through this. After having an ileostomy. Then having to get it undone, no one could talk me into getting it back.

I would tell them right off the bat that another SPC was out of the question. I would demand to know if there are things that they should try first.

My mom even today was back on my case today just hours after dodging the nasty hurricane that hit Florida. I have been BLAH about all my medical stuff because I hate the idea of starting over but it is what needs to be done.

I hope things get better for you.

Thanks man. It has been an absolute nightmare. I wont know if the dr will even take my case until next week. Our healthcare system is SO broken.

One of the nurses said I may need a pediatric foley.

I have been putting things off that need to be done. I need the spasms to calm down. Botox worked for my butt issue except that I have no bowel control with it. It's a dilemma because it's be in pain or crap my diaper. Now the last thing that came up with my health has me really thinking about bladder Botox as well.

I gotta say its hard for me not to put things off too. I dont want my kidneys to fail, but I refuse to go back to the er.

My Kidneys were jacked up the end of last month. I am still worried about it. My bladder destended and I had calcifications in my prostate from something

Yea my CT scan (they were looking for kidney stones) showed a "small" lesion on my liver....its honestly the least of my concerns right now.....

I am still having issue with the hospital. Only have Medicare because my county says I make to much on SSDI.
I cannot get seen by a doctor at all without going to the ER. My GI doctor has not seen me since January 2023. Before this last er visit I was told even my PCP could not see me until next year.

I had a 45 minute pelvis spasm tonight.

It sucks.

I could not imagine dealing with more than I do.
