Depends Real Fits ??

Hi everyone. Happy to be here with you. Not because of our common issue of incontinence. Whether it is day, night or both, but happy to be with this great community of support.

So to my question. If you read my posts you will know that my issue is with bedwetting and that it is occasional, 2-3 times a month only. At home I primarily use a water proof bed pad since no need to be wearing protection every night if the majority of the nights are dry. But when I am not sleeping at home for work or for family trips I wear Depends Real Fit pull-ups.

So far I have had no issues with them. Most of the time that I wear them I wake dry. On the mornings where I wake wet wearing them, they are bulkier but not leaking.

My question is, are there better options our there for overnight protection in a pull-ups style? Does anyone like the Depends Real Fits? I see a lot of negative about them.

They are working for me, but want to know what to check out if they stop working for me. Hate to have to explain a wet bed to a hotel due to a leak.

Thanks.

It really depends on how much protection you need, if the real fits work for you And are comfortable I don’t know if you’d like a more absorbent product as they are much thicker. I need a very absorbent product that I can trust to stay in place and handle allot of fluid so I wear a diaper with tape tabs 24/7. I have found that there are a few diapers that are very comfortable and fairly discreet, molicare super slips and Northshore supreme lites are my daytime diapers and work very well. The molicare s are cloth backed which I generally stay away from like the plague but these some how dont sag as much as other cloth style diapers and the Northshore are plastic backed and are very comfortable and very absorbent. If you start to need a more absorbent product and need to wear all day long my suggestion is to try many different products and find the ones that work and are comfortable.

Abena abriflex is an amazing pullup, with protection that is nearly equivalent to most mid grade tape on diapers. I prefer regular diapers but the abriflex work better for me through my work days.

Pull ups at night not even an option for myself, unless I want to change all my bedding and clothing unfortunately.

I use Depend brand products including real fit. I have times where I need something more absorbant or better quality. They are comfortable. I cant really use the real fit for sleeping.

I don’t like the real fits. I have had leaks and poor fit. I have switched back to diapers and when at the gym I wear the women’s pull ups no leaks and really fit well

@PBJ32 following your suggestion I tried some for myself and I have to agree that they are better than any pull up I have tried, cheers Phil

Does anyone know what the difference between the Depends Real Fit and regular Depends is? I don't mess with Depends anymore, just curious. Also I concur that Abenas are great although I don't have nighttime issues.

The real fit are more underwear looking and have a tighter fit. I use to think they was more absorbant than other pullups, i dont think that anymore.

@Ruhappy
The mens real fits seem to be more suited for men than the fit flex. I like how they, the real fits, are shaped more like underwear with protection up the front, and as you say fit tighter like real underwear. I don't like the shape or fit of the fit flex, too much waistband are and not a lot of protection in the front.

I actually believe the assurance brand pullup for men is more absorbant up front. Not as tight fitting. Not for real heavy wetters.
