constipation with overflow

I have just been diagnosed with constipation with overflow. I am taking a laxative cocktail (1 TBSP Miralax in a.m./ 1 full envelope Miralax and benefiber in the p.m., along with a probiotic. I think that this regimen might be altered over time.
I don't know how long this will take to resolve. I don't know if I should alter my social life.
I don't know if I can fly to see my son for Thanksgiving. Can anyone help?

Have you tried Milk of Magnesia? This works very quickly for me.

Also, be sure to drink lots of water with the Miralax and fiber.

@Joya A Dulcolax suppository will work aggressively within 15-30 minutes. On the rare ocassionally, you may need to one pill, wait 30 minutes, then insert another. The suppository bring cramps, but it’s TOTALLY worth it to get immediate relief.
