Bad diaper rash

I have a bad diaper rash. I’ve had a lot of accidents lately. I think all the changing and just constant moisture has caused my rash to become super inflamed. The rash is pretty much covering the whole diaper area. I try not to itch, but I’m struggling with it. My IBS hasn’t helped anything either. Any suggestions?

Make time to air out, on a bed pad or Kylie, change more often, wash n pat dry when changing and get some sudocrem. Worksor me.

It could also be the cloth diapers, since they don’t wick moisture away as well as disposables. Change often and use a barrier cream. That should help some.

I will second what people are saying and also add that cloth diapers require a different approach when it comes to laundry. I am almost 40 and was born in cloth diapers. I also had them when I was only a bed-wetter years ago.

I followed the rinse, wash, rinse cycle. You have to get all the laundry detergent out of the diaper, or it will cause chemical burns.

Also, do not use dryer sheets.

I even do the rinse, wash, and rinse on my pul diaper covers.
