Back in Diapers Before 30

After a year of living in denial, I am finally at a place where I can admit that I need to wear adult diapers because I can no longer control my bladder or bowels.
I’ve only been in diapers 24/7 for one month now, but I can already tell my anxiety over accidents has lessened and I’m a bit more confident at work.

Yes I feel really embarrassed to admit that I cannot make it to the toilet like a “normal” almost 30-year old, but after some even more embarrassing public incidents I am beginning to understand that a soiled diaper is much less humiliating than soiled pants.

If anyone else is young and using adult diapers, I’m here to say you’re not alone. I’m always happy to make friends, so feel free to reach out!

Update time!
I have been wearing adult diapers 24/7 for about 2.5 months now.

My incontinence issues are the same as they were 2.5 months ago. Severe OAB, I get a sharp urge then start wetting seconds later, and stress incontinence that causes me to leak when I move around or cough. I also have days where I leak small amounts constantly, and those days are rough because I have to constantly monitor my diaper.

Bowel incontinence wise, I am having most accidents in the morning or while asleep thanks to a bowel program. Sadly it’s not perfect and I still have day time accidents 1-2 times a week. If it happens in public I immediately head to the bathroom so I can finish my accident in private then clean up. If I can’t clean up in a timely manner I just move plans around and go home to change. Sometimes this causes me to miss events and that really sucks. But overall, I am still trying to be social and stay active, there’s just so much more planning required now that I use diapers.

I’m gradually building up my diaper friendly wardrobe. I have plenty of onesies and plastic pants and diaper covers, but I’m still shopping for nicer diaper friendly pants.
I mostly wear long loose skirts out in public, especially to work. Now that it’s winter I can wear leggings under a skirt and it’s stylish and warm. If I can dress more casually, I might wear leggings with a tunic top or oversized hoodie (both tops which cover my butt). I also have plenty of sweatpants that hide my diaper bulge but I can’t wear those in all situations.
So yeah, I mainly need a pair of dress pants or jeans I can wear with diapers.
