AUS Surgery

Hi Everyone
As most of you know I am 18 months post radical prostatectomy ,35 radium treatments,13 months hormone injections.
My last PSA was non detectable.
My Urologist asked if I wanted do the AUS. He said that his experience has shown that if you have severe incontenence this long that it isn’t going away.
My problem is that I have CHF and have to take Lasix everyday. I probably couldn’t tell if problem is better.
The reason for this post is does anyone in Central Florida have a clinic or doctor that they have had good results with? I am looking at areas from Jacksonville to Tampa.

I dont see what CHF has to do with it other than frequency.
I suggest you read the AUS thread.

I agree with the Urologist that severe incontinence that persists beyond 12 months after radical prostatectomy is unlikely to improve. Therefore in your case I would strongly consider an AUS.I had mine done at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida on May 29th, 2020.It has been a game changer for me.I'm very happy with it. The Urologist at Mayo Clinic is Dr. Steven Petrou. He's arguably one of the best in the country.
