18 months

A number of guys mentioned the vacuum pump. I purchased a Vacurect and find it works well. I use it almost every day for rehab purposes and with the constriction ring it keeps a good erection. I have tried the 5 mg Cialis on a daily basis for six months post op and for another spell subsequently but I don't find it makes a big difference. The main thing for me was not losing too much length. I have a friend who had brachytherapy and that didn't work so they put him on hormone therapy which he found very difficult. Then he went for salvage prostatectomy. The outcome was retraction to the extent that he could not use an external catheter, which I find totally invaluable when I'm away for a long day or blowing my bagpipes. So I'm grateful for the VP on helping to maintain sufficient length.

Iuwogeo. Sorry to hear the doubts around the potential rise in your PSA. I can understand your concerns over the next few weeks. I hope and pray the level drops.

Thank you, very much - much appreciated!
