Your best tips and advice

@smo1968 Good points. I am one of those under 50 dealing with bladders issue. For me it is enuresis (bedwetting for those not sure). Other than my bedwetting I present myself as a normal, active, guy. But why the stigma. Why do I feel embarrassed that I still occasionally wet the bed? Society norms.

I 100% concur with @MikeJames comments above. I would also add a caviat to the confidence comments. Find some quality products that provide the protection that you need, but then get back out there and LIVE.

Don’t let all of your internal and/or external stigma or fears hold you back. I did, at least at first and I look back and wonder why?! It’s perhaps a normal part of the processing of it all but I let it own me for a while during the initial sorting out and trial period. I was scared and frustrated and miserable and inactive and ate crappy and gained a bunch of weight. It was stupid really because I was basically punishing myself for something that isn’t my fault. And the only one I hurt was me. Lesson learned. Once I let go of all that and got back to just being me (granted with new/different and thick and crinkly undergarments) life got back to normal and no one has been any the wiser. Let it go. Get dressed and get out there and live life and be happy!!!

I know for alot of people being discrete and wearing protective pads/underwear/briefs is tough. I'm finally getting comfortable after alot of trial and error and it's definitely made me feel better. I've ended up settling with briefs day/night...i use one of either the Depends tabbed briefs or the Attends Waistband brief. I know they get bad reviews but for me I get outstanding protection and complete discretion. They are very form fitting with very secure elastics through out the product, 3 closures for added security and a quiet poly backing. The Attends might seem slightly loud at first but once I leave the house it's completely unnoticeable. The only downside is durability but I'm okay with 3-4 hours. My problem is overnight? I'm still looking for an extended overnight brief? Any advice? For overnight I'm not worried about discretion as I am performance so I would like to hear what's worked for others.
