Yeast infection

Hi all,
Almost 7 weeks post op. 1st I got a UTI from the catheter in for 12 days. Was on an antibiot for 7 days. Still had issues so examined by my surgeon. New infection was Epididymitis Orchitus, painful and on a stronger antibiotic for another 14 days. Now I have a yeast infection around head if penis. Burning, itching, and red as hell. I think maybe from 21 straight days of antibiotics. Or is it from the Depends and pads? Anyone else experience this?

Your leaking some and if you have a micropenis or inverted penis, the yeast infection will happen with a UTI, I have a cream that my Dr. orders for me to put on 3 times per day at diaper changes. If they dont know what it is, let me know and I will give you the info. And dont wait to long, as this can be serious if you let it go

Many women get yeast infections when they take antibiotics because the antibiotic kills off the good bacteria as well. Women use a medication to counteract this. Talk to your doctor. They should know how to handle it. I’m sure you’re not the first! Good luck!
