Waking up with an upside-down smile

I must have been pretty tired last night. I put on a fresh diaper and slipped into bed. It was the best sleep I have had in a while. Well, this morning I woke up to a wet and messy situation. This hasn't happened to me in a while. When I got up, I found a 1/4 of my diaper insides all over the bed. Goes to find out that I must have been dreaming tossing and turning so much that my diaper split at the seems. I have mentioned this before in one of my topics. Man! What a mess. The diaper I was using was a Tranquility ATN. I usually can go through the night without a change. Not this time. It happens. I don't get mad at myself anymore. Just get up and do what I have to do. It's part of life. Just remember, don't get mad at yourself for being incontinent. We are all human. We don't live in a perfect world. We just have to cope a little more with what the guy upstairs has handed to us. Keep your head held high. Try to always think positive. Thank you all for listening. Have a awesome and wonderful day.

This is why I prefer cloth pull-on diapers with plastic pants. They stay put no matter how much I toss and turn.

Hey at least you are looking at it positively as that will help you immensely at least mentally. Lol it may not help your continence but I can ensure you are negative attitude may cause incontinence to become worse.

Just my two cents.

Posts like yours always helps remind me I'm not alone on this journey. Thanks and have a great day. Side note: Watched a documentary last night of a fellow that was diagnosed with ALS. My problem seems so small after watching what he was going through. Wearing diapers isn't so bad...

Exactly Donneenjim10 stuff like that just really puts everything into perspective. Just having to wear is really not that bad period. ;)

I totally agree with cloth diapers and plastic pants. This is the only combo that works fairly well overnight.

Excellent points @donneenjim10 and @Jwh51! There are always many people around who are a lot worse off than you. And for the documentary of the man with ALS and for those of us who are a bit leaky, then it's time to count our blessings because they are there!!
And @JWT, you got it pegged to a "T!" Being incontinent isn't your fault so it's pointless to be mad at yourself!!! Just find your best self-care routine and get into that and you'll know you're doing the best you can and are being the best you can be!
As for Tranquility ATN's did this come from a new package?? What I'm driving at I've at some point (most likely on this forum) that Tranquility products have not had that great a reputation lately, although I can still be wrong about that. But at least I thought I saw some comments about Tranquility. It might bear looking into a bit further!
