I'm having what's called a Mini-TURP scheduled in July. This will solve my retention and frequency issues hopefully but I really doubt it will solve my IC. I am using NorthShore Go Supreme at night and Depends Night Defense during the day. I probably have posted that as long as I walk around I don't leak much. But sitting at sofa or desk in front of my computer or while sleeping the urine just comes out in a steady stream. Even getting up to use bathroom while watching TV doesn't stop what seems to be a continuous flow. Urine always ends up around the edges of my leg and my butt as flow spreads. What am I supposed to do. Use a new diaper every 2-3 hours while watching TV. They cost a fortune. Don't want to use a tabs diaper. I like the pull-up. When I come home for day I usually have to change out of the Depends after a few hours of sitting. I then put on the NorthShore. But putting on the NorthShore hours before I go to bed fills a lot of the capacity so urine is already leaking out of the sides before I awake. I estimated between protective bed pads and diapers I have already spent $470 this year. Now if I have to buy extra diapers for the evening my outlay will be $1200-$1300 a year. I know there are larger capacity diapers but weight of the liquid absorbed really pulls down the diaper. I am overweight and don't have much of a waist. Who makes the largest capacity pull up. At least it will be better than the situation I am in right now.
