Waking extremely wet and leaking

Well, I broke down and bought a package of ABDL Crinkles and a package of Megamax blue diapers. I bought them online through North Shore. I ordered them yesterday morning and I received them today. That was quick. I am going to try out the MegaMax tonight and see what happens by morning. They are amazingly thick. The Crinkles are close to the same. I've had used Crinkles in the past. They are an amazing diaper if you don't mind the print on them. Give me a few days and I will give a short review on both of them. Crossing my fingers and hoping I dont have a wet bed in the morning.

@JWT I also just broke down and bought the blue Megamax off of Northshore (was trying to just use pull-ups before that but was waking up soaking). I was happy this morning to wake up with my accident contained, but that front landing plastic makes them SO LOUD because I toss and turn a lot when falling asleep. My wife is really supportive and didn’t say anything but I know she must’ve heard me. Anyone know any other good overnight diapers without that?

Better Dry from Northshore or the crinklz (same diaper) better dry is white and the other has prints. I switched to the better dry as my primary.

Holy Cow! The MegaMax diapers are amazing. I can't emphasize that enough. Last night I tried one out for the first time. Very impressive. Tapes are strong but would like see the landing zone come all the way to the ends. Yes, the landing strip for the tapes is a bit noisy. After last night, I will deal with the noise. They are a bit bulky but very comfortable to wear. What I am so giddy and happy about is how thirsty these diapers are. During most nights, I would have to wake up and change. I would even wake up for the day and find myself in a wet bed due to the current type of diaper I've been using leaked. Don't get me wrong, Tranquility ATN diapers are good also. So, when I woke up this morning, I felt the bed around where I was laying. The bed was dry. The MegaMax I would say close to doubled in size. I thought for sure there would be a leak somewhere. I got up right away to see. Nope. No leaks at all. I am very satisfied with this diaper. I will be buying a case of these. Tonight I will be putting on a Crinkles diapers and doing a review tomorrow to see between the two what is better. Right now in price, the MegaMax diaper is cheaper. Sorry if this sounds like a story. I express how I feel about something better that way. Everyone stay safe. Thank you for listening.

They are a great diaper. I figure that if you’re going to need one, go for the best ( price allowing, of course).

I’m glad the MegaMax works for you. The fit is off or something on me and I experience leaks after one wetting. I’ve gotten samples over the last year or so and I’ll try them just to see if I can get them to work and I just can’t. I tried a white one last night and woke up with wet pul pants. I have better luck with crinklz. They fit perfect and are super comfortable. And I leak a lot less with them.

Well, the test is complete. I remember buying Crinkles in the past. Again as I remember them. Very nice and snug fit. Very comfortable to wear. Absorbency was amazing. No leaks. Beside the print on the outside, I really like this diapers. I would say before putting them on, take a little time to fluff them up a bit. They are a little stiff and also helps in absorbency. The noise from the soft plastic outer shell was a lot quieter. This diaper would be easy to wear during the day also. Stay safe everyone. Stay protected.

Remember that the fit is critical. Even the most absorbent diaper made will be useless unless it fits your personal shape.

At night I wear a Northshore Care MegaMax, with a booster, and a PUL diaper cover - "plastic pants." That is an excellent combination for nights.:) As I work after I get up, I usually wear the overnight diaper for a total of about 11 hours.

Just have realistic expectations. The useable capacity of any diaper is a mere fraction of its maximum absorbent capacity.:( Useable capacity usually ranges from 25 to 40 percent of the maximum capacity. Better quality diapers usually will have a higher useable capacity.

If you are a side sleeper the fit of the diaper plays an important role in avoiding night time leaks (absorbency is not everything).

I purchase the MegaMax diapers in blue. It is nice to have something that does not look medical. Incontinence is too boring. I am not into ABDL prints and so would like to see abstract art, paint splashes, etc.

For daytime wear, a layer over the MegaMax will significantly reduce the noise level. Plastic pants, onesies, or even just a pair of briefs over the diaper will help.

Just a note on fit: I’ve had to deal with this for a long time, but I stay as active as my body will take! I’m not bragging, just saying I’ve still got thick thick thighs from a lot of mountain biking and hiking, yet at times I’ve experienced leaks at the legs, especially when it’s a fresh diaper. Admittedly sometimes in a rush I might not get the legs tight enough, or when in a bathroom stall it’s not easy to flex / stretch a fresh diaper as I always do at home. This usually gets rid of that cardboard feeling making it more comfortable and better fitting. This is why I always use an over pant from Kins. They have a newer one out they call Taffeta, it’s NOT the heavy polyester and it’s the lightest, very durable, most comfortable pant I’ve ever used. It gets hot & muggy here in the Carolinas, especially when hitting the trails! These are a vast improvement over any other pant I’ve tried. They keep the noise down and keep things in place. Don’t care what they call them if they work!
Good Luck!
