I'm scheduled to see my urologist next week for another round of Botox. I'm dreading this one because I've been in so much pain the past few weeks. My bladder was hurting enough last month that I went to urgent care thinking that I had a UTI, but it came back negative. I messaged my urologist, and his office told me that they didn't have any openings earlier than my next Botox appointment, and that if I was hurting I should just go to urgent care and get checked for a UTI. Considering I'd just been to urgent care and been checked for a UTI, that wasn't very helpful.
I don't know what to do at this point. The last round of Botox didn't help that much, though it's always been the case that sometimes it works better than other times. I'm worried about going through the injections into my already-sore bladder, though, and I don't know how long it'll be before I can get in for an office visit.
I keep thinking that it would be less painful to get my bladder removed and have a urostomy instead, though that's probably not a path I really want to go down.
