Sorry I haven't been posting on here much! Hope everyone's doing okay!
It's been a busy time. Finally saw a Long Covid expert (only taken three and a half years!) and it was amazing. Restored my faith in doctors! After so long of being gaslit by medical professionals it was great to feel vindicated by someone explaining things I thought were the case. He explained that he's seen that Long Covid seems to worsen certain things with people with ADHD which explained numerous issues I have. Unfortunately, they still have no idea how to fix it but certain medications have been shown to help and he prescribed Duloxetine which has been a huge help. It's helped with the incontinence to the extent I can go back to wearing DryNites around the house now and again.
In terms of the getting back to being productive stuff it's a mixed bag. Sadly going back to uni wasn't a thing this year due to my health and I've had some less than stellar experiences at events and short courses accessibility wise. Fortunately the end of 2023 was a lot better than the start! I did a voice acting course that was the first thing since 2020 I haven't had to drop out of due to health. It was super fun and it was great to be around people again and not stuck in the house! Signed up for next term as well. I also went the furthest I've been in a wheelchair and travelled up to Manchester for the For the Love of Horror convention and had an absolute blast! Find Manchester's even easier than London access wise!
Looking forward to 2024, feeling confident that uni can be a thing given how the voice acting's gone and feeling positive for the fist time in ages!
