Spinal Arteriogram

Has anyone had a spinal arteriogram? They run a catheter from your groin up into your spine to check blood flow to your blood vessels and vein. My neurosurgeon cannot pinpoint cause of my pain and incontinence just from an x-ray. I guess I will be in diapers in the hospital after all.

@mhart82 I can't say that I have ever come across this investigation, but I hope it goes well. Don't worry about diapers in hospital, they will have seen it all before, cheers Phil

The diapers in US hospitals suck. Make sure to bring your own.

Listen to Wills1!!!!! Hospital diapers are the absolute worst!! I don’t think they’ll hold even a cup of liquid!!

And who suffers from the crappy diapers used in hospitals? The patient because s/he leaks all over the place and the nurses who have to clean up. All to save a few bucks.

Yeah, Squander. I don't blame the nurses, either. In a lot of hospitals, they have no say and their suggestions/complaints are ignored. The one hospital i have used where they do listen to nurses, i haven't had to have diapers there – yet.

Haven’t heard of that procedure. Please post and let us know the outcome for sure. I hope it reveals something that can be easily corrected.
I imagine the patient and nurses both get screwed when it comes to the low grade absorbent supplies. Not a bad idea to bring your own that you know will work.
