side effects of Lupron

I have never posted before. This is very embarrassing but my urologist gave me a shot of Lupron and some of the side effects were pretty dramatic. Hot flashes, etc. One of the side effects was shrinkage of my penis and scrotum. They have shrunk so much I don't think I can use some of the clamps like the Posey cuff. Are any of the clamps more narrow?

In addition to the helpful link provided by thudsun1965, I'll add my two bits.

I am on Eligard (similar to Lupron in that it suppresses the production of testosterone). It has similar side effects. I have experienced hot flashes, nocturia, and shrinkage of my male parts.

You mention the Posey Cuff - I believe you mean the Pacey Cuff. I have tried using one before being on Eligard. It didn't work for me but maybe I didn't adjust it correctly, who knows.

As I recall the Cuff is available in three sizes (S,M,L). The size is determined by your penis circumference and length - go to their website for more info. So there may be a size that is applicable for your situation. I have the Medium size and the width of the Cuff is about 1 3/8ths inches - I believe the clamp types take up less real estate i.e. they are narrower - my Wiesner Clamp is about 1/2 the width as the Cuff.
